Welcome to A$AP FTC

We are a FIRST Tech Challenge team based in South Jordan, Utah. We are a group of high school students who are passionate about STEM and robotics.

We are committed to proving ourselves as a rookie team by developing consistent robotics systems.

Founded in 2024, we are a community-based team that strives to rethink the way we approach robotics and STEM education. We believe that robotics is not just about building robots, but also about learning and growing as individuals.

A$AP is committed to accelerating progress and Achieving Success with Agility and Precision.

Our mission is to foster a culture of rapid innovation and relentless determination in the field of robotics.

We aim to inspire and be inspired, to challenge and be challenged, and to continuously strive for excellence.

United in our efforts, we aim to push the boundaries of what’s possible, transforming ideas into reality and daring to venture into the extraordinary.

About FTC

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is one of the programs offered by FIRST. It is designed for students in grades 7-12 to compete head-to-head using a sports model. Teams are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams.

FTC emphasizes Gracious Professionalism®, teamwork, and innovation. Participants learn valuable skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and project management, while also gaining hands-on experience in engineering and programming.

Gracious Professionalism® is a way of doing things that encourages high-quality work, emphasizes the value of others, and respects individuals and the community. It is a cornerstone of the FIRST ethos, promoting kindness and respect in competition and collaboration.

Each season, teams are presented with a new challenge that encourages creativity and critical thinking. The program not only prepares students for careers in STEM but also helps them develop skills that are essential for success in any field.
